Born in Port-Gentil, Gabon, Pastor Chantal Yapi was converted by accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in 1988 during a Full Gospel Businessmen's meeting. She subsequently joined a local church where she was part of the intercession group. A year later, she left her country to pursue language studies in London, Great Britain. It was during her training that she met Patrice D. Yapi, and they married in 1991.

After 14 years of ministry in a London church, God revealed Himself to them with the goal of starting the Centre International Evangelique pour des Leaders (C.I.E.L.). Co-founder and president of the Women's Ministry " Open Heart ", Pastor Chantal YAPI received a special grace to lead several ministries such as: Intercession, visits to the afflicted and the destitute. She works as an associate pastor in the Ecluses des Cieux assembly and is also the host of the television show "Les voies/voix prophétiques". (Prophetic Ways/Voices). Pastor Chantal B. YAPI graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from the prestigious University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom.
